While You’re Around

A few spots we can recommend in the area.

Coffee & Breakfast

Saint Frank Coffee Menlo Park

A cute coffee shop with a nice patio & pastries. Walking distance from the hotels in the area.

Verve Coffee Palo Alto

Originating in Santa Cruz, Verve Coffee is a local favorite of Anna & Antonio. Their pastries are also amazing, especially the Kouign-amann! They have a few quick breakfast options as well.

Philz Menlo Park

A Bay Area favorite. Anna loves their famous Mint Mojito Iced Coffee.

Lunch & Dinner

Ramen Nagi Palo Alto

Anna’s brother Nick’s favorite ramen spot. They don’t take reservations, but the line is worth it.

Oak + Violet Menlo Park

Located inside the Park James Hotel, Oak + Violet is a welcoming neighborhood restaurant featuring seasonal dishes and great cocktails.

Zareen’s Palo Alto

A casual spot for fantastic Pakistani food. Highly recommended by one of Anna’s best friends, Hira.

Something Sweet

Penny Ice Creamery Palo Alto

Anna and Antonio love ice cream, and Penny Ice Creamery is their favorite back home in Santa Cruz. They’re excited Palo Alto now has a location! Their Bitter Caramel flavor is the best!
